Services

Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is a field focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. For both youth and adults, SLP involves working with individuals to address issues related to articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills.

Youth

- Articulation Disorders: Difficulty pronouncing certain sounds.

- Language Disorders: Challenges with understanding and using language.

- Fluency Disorders: Stuttering and other issues affecting the flow of speech.

- Voice Disorders: Problems with pitch, volume, or quality of voice.

- Social Communication Disorders: Difficulty with social aspects of communication.

Adult

- Aphasia: Language impairments due to brain injury, such as from a stroke.

- Dysarthria: Speech difficulties caused by muscle weakness.

- Cognitive-Communication Disorders: Communication issues due to cognitive impairments.

- Voice Disorders: Similar to youth but often related to vocal misuse or neurological conditions.

- Swallowing Disorders (Dysphagia): Problems with swallowing, often requiring intervention to ensure safe eating and drinking.
